CARES Act Disclosure (Final Report 3/31/21)
Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF)

Coastline Beauty College received federal emergency grant funding as part of the CARES Stabilization Funding Package which allows us to assist students with expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19).

The Department of Education requires each institution to sign the funding Certification and Agreement and submit a report within 30 days after the date when the institution received its allocation and updated every 45 days thereafter.  As part of the reporting requirements, Coastline Beauty College is required to disclose the following information to the public:

  1. Coastline Beauty College has signed and returned to the Department of Education the Certification and Agreement with the intention of using no less than 50% of the funds received to provide direct assistance to students who have expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19.
  2. The total amount of funds that the institution will receive or has received from the Department pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students: $118,498
  3. The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of 03/31/2021: $118,498
  4. The estimated total number of students at the institution who are or could be eligible to participate in the Federal student financial aid programs under Section 484 of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, and thus are eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act:  218 students.
  5. The total number of students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act:  208
  6. The method(s) used by the institution to determine which students receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants and how much they would receive under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act:
     

    Phase 1 Phase 2
    • Current and Graduated students who attended an eligible program between 3/18/20 and 7/31/2020
    • Submitted CARES Act Application to School
    • Estimated 146 eligible students will receive $590
    • Students who will attend an eligible program after 7/31/2020
    • Submitted CARES Act Application to School
    • Eligible students will receive $525 until remaining funds run out.
Eligibility
Phase 1 & 2 students must meet the following criteria:
  • High School diploma or GED or Equivalent
  • US citizen, permanent resident, or other eligible noncitizen(greencard)
  • Have valid Social Security Number
  • Making Satisfactory Academic Progress(SAP)
  • Have Selective Service registration verified (Males only)
  • Not owe an overpayment or default on Title IV grants or loans.
  • Not have a federal or state conviction for drug possession or sale, with certain time limitations.

Eligible students must also submit a CARES Act Application either in-person or online.
