Fountain Valley Campus
Opened since 2014, our Fountain Valley Campus is our main campus and is also the site of our student-run salon.
All instruction is provided on campus in instructional classrooms containing equipment designed to assist students and its integration in the business world.
Facility and Equipment
Coastline Beauty College (CBC) occupies approximately 6,000 sq feet in a spacious, air-conditioned one story modern facility that is accessible by public transportation. The facility consists of adequate classrooms for each program of study offered at CBC and contains equipment and supplies sufficient to meet the needs of the students. CBC also provides lockers, restrooms and break room areas for student use.
The building is equipped with heating and air conditioning systems, well lit and furnished in a highly professional manner, free from distracting noises. Entrances and exits are located so that the building can be cleared quickly and safely in an emergency.
CBC is in a well-designed building to assimilate a salon environment for the sole purpose of education. CBC is equipped with modern visual and teaching aids, possessing the type of professional beauty equipment including extensive shampoo facilities, chair hair dryers and blow dryer stations in addition to the workstations provided for students.
The Reference Library
The school maintains a reference library containing appropriate texts, reference books, videotapes, and computers for the use of the staff and student body. Staff and students are to utilize the materials in conjunction with assigned school textbooks to augment their classes with additional material and in the updating and creation of their class lesson plans. Administrative and counseling offices are on-site. The reference library is located next to the administrative office.
When do classes begin?
We have new classes starting each Monday or Tuesday, depending on which Campus you are at. Please make an appointment to take a free tour of our facility.

Do you offer part time or evening courses?
We offer part time classes but do not currently offer evening classes. We have flexible schedules but require that you attend school at least 20 hrs per week.
Fountain Valley Main Campus
Classes are from 9AM to 6PM Monday – Friday, as well as 10AM to 5PM on Saturdays.
Hemet Campus
Classes are from 9AM-9PM Tuesday – Saturday
What do I need to enroll in the classes?
You will need a driver’s license or government issued photo identification:
- Social Security Card
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. If you do not have this, you can take the Ability to Benefit test to be eligible
- Green Card or Certificate of Naturalization
Is financial aid available?
Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Along with the government-issued ID, you will also need:
- Last two years tax returns and W-2 of the applicant or the applicant’s parents if under 24 years old
- If you are receiving cash aid from the Social Security or Social Services, you need a letter of verification of income.
- If you are receiving unemployment benefits, you will need to bring your Notice of Unemployment Insurance Award (Form DE429Z).

- Cosmeticianv(Esthetician) – 600 hours
- Cosmetology – 1000 hours
- Manicuring/Nail Care – 600 hours

If I do not qualify for financial aid, what other options are available?
If you do not qualify for financial aid, we also have other financing options and payment plans available.
Where are you located?
Our Fountain Valley Campus is located at 16151 Harbor Blvd Fountain Valley, CA in central Orange County. Public Transportation is accessible to our school.
Our Hemet Campus is located at2627 W. Florida Ave. Hemet, CA 92545 in Riverside County.
Do you offer classes in any other languages?
Yes, in our Fountain Valley location most of our instructors are bilingual. All of our course materials are in English and many of our classes are translated into Vietnamese.
Our Hemet location currently offers classes only in English.
What if I change my mind and decide to cancel?
You may cancel 7 days from the time you (1) sign an enrollment agreement OR (2) attend the first class session, whichever is later. After that, the refund amount is prorated depending on how many hours you have attended.
